My girlfriend is going to start a small catering business, and she needs a catchy and slightly edgy name to print on her business cards etc. She wants to be able to create some type of persona that sells her business out of the name as well.Her name is Sheena, and she wants something more edgy than “Sheena’s Delights” or “Culinary Creations”Any suggestions?
Not a direct answer to your question but I did want to chime in on a couple other factors to consider when naming the business.1. Make sure there’s not another food-related company doing business with the same name2. Make sure you can get the domain name for whatever business name she decides on. Domain names are increasingly difficult to come by. Instead of starting to brainstorm the business name, you may want to start and check on available catering or food related domain names. GoDaddy offers an easy way to check on domain names – just go to their website.
What about “Sheena’s Scrumptious Creations” or “Incredible Culinary Delights by Sheena.” A shorter business name could be “Sheena’s Choice Cuisine.” And if you happen to be from Eastern Massachusetts, then just add “wicked” to each name, e.g, “Sheena’s Wicked Edible Foodstuffs.”
